The angle of the sword means the character doesn't know how to hold a sword properly. If u tilt it to the right it might impose a stab if its tilted to the left = slash. Also agree with teseracto

agree about the background but i like the use of motion blur to give life to the picture. i think the pants have too much of the black 'shadow-y' area. 6/8
